Le Magnifique Nova Cidade Hotel - Bank Holiday Home

"We have travelled Goa in June 2016 and stayed there for 2 days. Here are crux of our visit:

1) Finding place: We have travelled by train from Kota and stopped at Pernem railway station where taxi driver which we have hired take us directly to hotel by taking directions from hotel staff on phone. It can be find easily as it is present in front of famous De Mall in pervuary. Taxi has charged 800 Rs. from pernem to Hotel.
2) Staff: We are not that kind of people who spends their time in hotel lobby talking to staff but whatever interaction we have with staff was pleasant.
3) Location : It is present at residental area and is quite and calm but other side of coin is Goa means beaches and nearest Baga beach is present at around 10 kms from hotel and cost around Rs. 1000 for the round trip.Also 2-3 restaurants and some pizza chain is present at walking distance. My personal tip is please try leisure walk at around 5:30 AM around the hotel and believe it looks like heaven on earth with birds chirping and fog present at all areas. 
4) Food: As it was mention that for preparation of food they would take 1 hr and believe me they are realistic as it will take around 60-70 minutes after which we have got what we have ordered. Room service is sluggish and need improvement. Morning and evening tea is too good..............Chana Masala , Roti are good....but some items are not upto the mark like Veg Biryani , Utpam etc. Also we do not like special breakfast of Puri-Sabji. 
5) Rooms : Rooms are clean .spacious and have hot water available all the time and we have stayed at rooms having balcony making our stay pleasant. But lift is not their so it becomes quite painful reaching at 3rd floor while carrying child.
P.S: Our bank has contract with this hotel so we have got rooms almost free and find this hotel above our expectations."

"It away from crowded place. its very peaceful and Well maintained. staff are polite and smiling. Had good experience staying in this place they provide Vehicle rental services also. Most of the rooms are booked by Bank employees. 
This place is away from beach and near to prime city"

"Visted goa on 4th dec 15 n le magnifique being our bank holiday home stay here for 2days. Since i was travelling in train from mangalore to goa my stop was in madgoan which Is almost 50-60 km frm this hotel. But This can b easily managed economically. Get out from the main entrance of madgoan station wer u get mini buses to madgoan bus stop(Rs20 3kms) from madgoan bussttop catch a bus to panjim whic is prepaid (Rs 40) &its direct (no stops until panjim takes 45mins) from. Panjim to le. Magnifique can b lil tricky. Auto ll cost 150rs. Bus people wont know the hotel location n if u tak a bus u got to walk around 900mts to hotel. So easy option is auto rickshaw. If ur okay walking then u hav to ask bus which go to mapusa for stop near distrct education center provorim. bus ll cost only 8rs. 7Kms or so. Rooms are gud clean. Din try food here except veg sandwich whic was excellent :-) u hav enuf eating n drinkin options only in the highway whic is 900mts from d hotel. 1Store available nearby for daily need items 400mtrs away. Most hapening place panjim is 7km away. Beaches like baga & calangaute are 8-12 kms away. U get vehicles to rent in d hotel. Itself. 350Rs For activa. 450Rs For geared bikes. petrol price when we went was 55rs. Staffs are gud. Helpful. Overall happy with the stay"
